Every year on September 17th, people celebrate putting these L.O.V.E. Is The Answer principles into action around the world: I pledge to LEARN about the people in my community, to unconditionally OPEN my heart to their needs as if they were all immediate family members, to VOLUNTEER to be part of the solution in their lives during both good and challenging times, and to EMPOWER everyone I meet to do the same as if our lives depended on each other.

 

These talks were part of the main event in Howard County, MD. The day started with an assembly for 200 6th graders at Lake Elkhorn Middle School and continued with the Summit featuring a dozen community leaders speaking on subjects related to bringing more love into schools to help teachers and students thrive.
